The Food Power Festival: 17-20 May 2021

The online Food Power Festival will be a four-day celebration of the Food Power network filled with workshops, panels, films and performance. Food poverty alliances, partnerships, local authorities, food banks, academics and anyone else working to tackle the root causes of food insecurity are welcome to sign up.

Through this festival we hope to:

• Share learning from across the Food Power network and beyond
• Reflect on and celebrate the work of food poverty alliances around the country
• Regroup, recharge and plan for the recovery from the pandemic

Hosted online, we’ll create some festival atmosphere with different ‘stages’, ‘tents’ and networking spaces. Each day will have a different theme, with a programme designed so you can pick and choose the sessions that are of most interest to you, just like a festival. Each session will be recorded, so you’ll also be able to catch up on anything you’ve missed.

Take a look at the draft programme and sign up for your free ticket below. You’ll be asked to indicate which sessions you’re interested in attending, so we can get an idea of numbers for each. We’ll then announce the final programme by the end of April.
