Food Power

A campaign of food NGO Sustain, Food Power is tackling food poverty in place-specific, long-term and coordinated approaches. Working across 50 areas in the UK, it aims to strengthen and empower local communities to reduce food poverty and instead ensure everyone has long-term, sustainable access to healthy food. A key focus is giving voice to those experiencing food poverty and working alongisde them to eliminate hunger.

What we love about them:

Creating a network of people and organisations that are all tackling similar issues is powerful. We particularly love the session on failures at their annual conference, and how they bring the voices of those with lived experience onto their platform.
