Having recently merged with FACE (Farming and Countryside Education), the charity works across the education, farming and food sectors to inspire, engage and mobilise farmers and teachers about the value of farming in a learning context. They are also behind Open Farm Sundays, which attracts over 250,000 members of the public to over 400 farms on a single day each June, inspiring us to bring more communities together around food and farming.
What we love:
Connecting children with food, farming and nature, getting them to experience it in person rather than through textbooks!
Huge thanks to @HampshireFare for facilitating, and to all who have supported this event including @TheSouthernCoop, @Fullers Chef’s Guild @hantsconnect, @BasingstokeGov & @NFUSouthEast.
